Sharma, who met Brazilian External Relations Minister Antonio Patriota here, said, "At present no anti-dumping duty has been imposed by India on import of any items from Brazil."

The Commerce Minister raised the issue of imposition of anti-dumping duties on Indian products such as PET Films (Polyethylene Terephthalate), jute yarn, jute bags, nitrile rubber and stainless steel, the statement said.

Sharma also said that both the countries should make efforts to achieve the bilateral trade target of USD 10 billion over the next few years.

Sharma said that vast potential for cooperation is there in sectors like SMEs, IT, science and technology, engineering, energy, infrastructure, nuclear power.
