India Sees Decline In Tea Shipments In February |

INDIA'S total tea exports this February fell almost 11% to 11.93m kg from 13.35m kg in the same month of 2010, with an advance in shipments from south India being offset by a sharp decline in sales from the north of the country.
The slump in overall sales in February meant that India's total tea shipments in the first two months of 2011 were down 9.08% to 27.72m kg from 30.49m kg in the same period of 2010.
