Kochi, Nov. 16 The public sector FACT has imported another shipment of urea with a ship carrying 27,000 tonnes from Bahrain dropping anchored at Kochi port.
With this, the total quantity of fertilisers imported by FACT during the current year has reached 1,36,000 tonnes, which is a record for the company.
Potash shipment
The new consignment will be marketed in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
FACT is planning to import another shipment of potash in the coming month, a company release said.
