NEW DELHI: Adani Power(Rs. 2971.87 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 2892.63 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2182.11 crore), RIL(Rs. 1643.37 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 1332.48 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1316.44 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 1205.14 crore), MCX India(Rs. 1199.72 crore), New India Assurance(Rs. 1132.89 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 1106.49 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 95.0 points up at 19889.7, while BSE Sensex rose 204.16 points to 66174.2.
In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 8.90 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 5.30 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.53 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 3.39 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(up 2.75 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 0.53 per cent) and ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.42 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
