CHENNAI: Vibrant Tamil Nadu Export Summit 2018 will be held at the Centenary Auditorium at University of Madras Campus in Chepauk on Saturday from 9am to 6pm.
The Export Promotion Centre (EPC) - a division of Tamil Nadu Chamber Foundation - is organising the event along with Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The objective of EPC is to promote small and medium scale exporters in the southern region of Tamil Nadu, particularly with an aim to upgrade small merchants, manufacturers, retired officials and housewives, who have a passion towards exports, by teaching them the nuances of the export trade with well-structured classes.
The classes will deal with sessions to raise awareness on export business. There will be sessions on exploring export opportunities, best practices in foreign trade, government support for exporters, export risk management, buyers' expectation from Indian exporters and export success stories. Entry fee is 2,000 per person .
