Indian Rupee Falls To 2-week Low Against U.S. Dollar |

The Indian rupee opened lower against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday.
The rupee neared its key 54.00 level against the greenback, hitting 53.9905, lowest level in 2 weeks. The rupee thus lost 0.24 percent against the greenback from yesterday's close of 53.8587. The rupee is likely to seek support at 54.5 level.
Investors may focus industrial output data, which is expected to rise 1 percent year-over-year in December as against a 0.1 percent contraction in the previous month.
