Indian rupee has opened higher at 58.44 a dollar on Monday, up 8 paise compared to Friday's closing value of 58.52 a dollar. Agam Gupta, StanChart Bank says upticks will see supply of dollars from FIIs and exporters. Nationalised banks will continue to buy dollars for RBI," he adds.
