Rupee ends 1 paise higher against US dollar |

Indian rupee settled higher against the greenback on Thursday. Rupee was up by 0.01 paise or 0.02% against US Dollar to Rs 52.52.
The Sensex lost 20.62 or 0.12% at 17,130.67 with 21 components posting drop. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty fell by 13.00 or 0.25% at 5,189.00 with 40 components posting drop.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.09% to 78.99 (10.03 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.32 up 0.14% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 80.83 down 0.63% (10:08 ET).
