Rupee falls 9 paise against US dollar to 51.92 |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Thursday. Rupee was down by 0.09 paise or 0.19% against USD to Rs 51.92 (09.25 a.m.).
At 09.27 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 23.57 points or 0.14% at 17,415.96 with 15 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 3.65 points or 0.07% at 5,303.65 with 24 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.07% to 79.59 (23:52 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.31 down 0.03% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 81.44 up 0.22% (23:51 ET).
