Rupee gains 7 paise against US dollar to 52.45 |

Indian rupee gained against the greenback in morning trade on Thursday. Rupee was up by 0.07 paise or 0.15% against USD to Rs 52.45 (09.22 a.m.).
At 09.22 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 16.74 points or 0.10% at 17,168.03 with 17 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 4.15 points or 0.08% at 5,206.15 with 24 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.08% to 79.001 (23:49 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.32 up 0.06% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 81.17 down 0.21% (23:46 ET).
