Rupee marginally up against dollar in early trade |

Indian rupee gained against the greenback in morning trade on Monday. Rupee was marginally up by 0.007 paise or 0.01% against USD to Rs 52.49 (09.25 a.m.).
At 9.24 am., the Sensex was trading up 135.15 points or 0.79% at 17,322.49 with 26 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 31.80 points or 0.61% at 5,240.80 with 45 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.04% to 78.73. (23:54 ET)
Euro - USD was trading at 1.32 down 0.08% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 80.15 down 0.15%. (23:51 ET).
