Rupee opens flat in early trade |

Mumbai: The Indian rupee traded nearly flat against the dollar on Wednesday morning. The partially convertible rupee opened at 55.11 per dollar.
At 9.18am, the home currency was trading at 55.32, down 0.4%, while India’s benchmark Sensex was almost flat at 18,349.28 points.
On Tuesday, the rupee had closed at 55.10 per dollar, down 0.05% from its previous close.
