NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 3574.43 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 2203.99 crore), Adani Gas(Rs. 1024.55 crore), Adani Transmission(Rs. 917.34 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 868.85 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 863.29 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 541.45 crore), ITC(Rs. 537.23 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 520.00 crore) and BHEL(Rs. 511.94 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:49AM in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 47.3 points down at 21731.4, while BSE Sensex was down 170.12 points at 72240.26 as of 10:49AM(IST)on January 03.
In the Nifty index, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 4.40 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.46 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.40 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.39 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.25 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.44 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) were among the top losers.
