NEW DELHI: ICICI Bank(Rs. 8023.22 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 6208.75 crore), RIL(Rs. 4533.94 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 4281.93 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 3845.29 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 3603.04 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 3373.90 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 3069.47 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 3000.99 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 2662.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 65.91 points down at 23501.1, while BSE Sensex fell 269.03 points to 77209.9.
In the Nifty index, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.53 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.10 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 2.21 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 2.21 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
