NEW DELHI: Shares of Uravi T and Wedge NSE 19.97 %, Wendt India NSE -0.12 %, Ushanti Colour Chem NSE 1.07 %, EID Parry NSE 2.11 % and Impex Ferro Tech NSE 4.76 %, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 308.95 points up at 16661.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Mangalam Organics NSE -0.26 %, Xelpmoc Design NSE -2.50 %, Venus Remedies NSE 4.43 %, Ethos Ltd. and Shekhawati Poly NSE -7.69 %, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 45 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 closed in the red.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Beverages - Alcoholic, Gems and Jewellery and Miscellaneous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Agro Processing, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment and Industrial Equipment sectors during the day.
