Central Excise Rules,1944, NOIDA Export Processing Zone at Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) as a "Free Trade Zone". Noida, District Ghaziabad, U.P.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of Explanation 2 to the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with clause (va) of Rule 2 of the Central Excise Rules,1944, the Central Government hereby specifies the NOIDA Export Processing Zone at Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) as a "free trade zone".

Explanation. — For the purposes of this notification, "NOIDA Export Processing Zone" means the NOIDA Export Processing Zone at Ghaziabad comprising of the places bearing the khasra numbers or survey numbers, as the case may be, and enclosed by the boundaries, specified below :-

In Noida, District Ghaziabad, U.P. State at a distance of 30 kms. from International Airport, New Delhi enclosed by 3.25 metres high boundary wall consisting Of 2.35 metres Brick Masonry, 0.90 metres barbed wire fencing over it, and total length of the enclosing boundary wall being 2676.50 metres comprising 194.00 metres on Irrigation Drain side, 997.10 metres on river side, 346.60 metres on the side adjoining the Electric Sub-Station, 720.50 metres on the front side and 168.00 metres on the side front DSC Road to Main Gate and 244.50 metres from Main Gate to Irrigation drain.
