Coimbatore, March 1 Coimbatore-based K.U.Sodalamuthu and Co Pvt. Ltd, which manufactures and exports paper conversion machines for producing paper cones, tubes and edge protectors, has bagged the regional award from the Engineering Export Promotion Council for its export performance during 2007-08 in the ‘Star performer-medium enterprise' category. The Managing Director of the company, Mr K.S.Balamurugan, received the award from the President of Maldives, Mr Mohamed Nasheed, at a function held at Maldives recently, according to a company release .
