This is with reference to “Boosting exports” (Business Line, January 5). The Centre must focus on how best to attract FDIs in key manufacturing areas that are labour-oriented. China is a standing example on tackling labour issues. Infrastructural constraints in India need to be addressed, especially in industrial belts.
