Gems, jewellery exports rise 31% |

Exports of gems and jewellery from India advanced 31% in May to $2.46 billion, an industry group said. Shipments rose from $1.88 billion the same period a year earlier, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council said on its website.
