Turmeric Futures Up On Export Demand |

Turmeric prices traded higher by Rs 46 to Rs 7696 per quintal in futures trading on Monday following some export enquiries.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, turmeric for delivery in the current month July traded higher by Rs 46, or 0.60 per cent, to Rs 7,696 per quintal, with an open interest of 8,835 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in September edged up by Rs 10, or 0.13 per cent to Rs 7,446 per quintal, with a trade volume of 2,760 lots.
Analysts said some exports enquiries mainly pushed up turmeric futures prices.
