Rupee marginally up against dollar in early trade |

Indian rupee is trading slightly higher against the greenback in morning trade on Wednesday. Rupee was up by 3 paise or 0.05% against USD to Rs 54.97 compared to previous close of 55 (09.09 a.m.).
''USDINR price witnessed selling interest at higher levels of 55.38 levels on Tuesday and settled on weak note, leaving room for short term limited declines towards 54.88-54.90 levels, where 9-Day EMA falls,'' said Emkay Global Financial Services.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.06% to 80.43 (22:31 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.30 down 0.05% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 87.38 up 0.38% (22:43 ET).
