CBEC notifies Chief Commissioners & Commissioners' Committees for review cases

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of Section 35B of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No.25/2005-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 13th May, 2005, G.S.R. No. 305(E) dated the 13th May, 2005, namely:-

Joint Secretary to the Government of India Note.- The principal Notification No.25/2005-Central Excise (N.T.) dated the 13th May, 2005 was published vide G.S.R. 305(E), dated the 13th May, 2005 and subsequently amended vide Notification No.30/2005-Central Excise (N.T.) dated 8-6-2005 vide G.S.R. No. 381(E) dated 8-6-2005.
