During the visit of H.E. Mr. Phil Goff, New Zealand Minister for Trade to India in April 2007, a bilateral meeting was held between Commerce & Industry Minister and the New Zealand Minister for Trade in which it was agreed to set up a Joint Study Group to examine the feasibility of a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA)/Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries.
