Acetic Acid imports to India marginally propped up by 5% during April 2010 compared to March 2010..

Chemical Explorer: As per the data analysis by our team,India imported 675168 MT of Acetic Acid from January 2009 to April 2010. The country imported 29476 MT in January 2009, 38345 MT in February, 37239 MT in March, 34294 MT in April, 36830 MT in May, 34308 MT in June, 33788 MT in July, 47203 MT in August, 31877 MT in September, 46984 MT in October, 44790 MT in November, 37470 MT in December, 38806 MT in January 2010, 44669 MT in February 2010, 67760 MT in March 2010 and 71329 MT in April 2010. India imported 139354 MT of Acetic Acid during Jan – April 2009 while it was 222564 MT during Jan – April 2010. As per the data analysis by our team, imports of the country have increased by 60% during Jan – April 2010, compared to the same period last year. Compared to last month i.e. March 2010 imports of the country have gone up by 5% in the month of April 2010.
