MUMBAI: Coffee exports from India fell 10.2 per cent to 38,598 tonnes in the first two months of the coffee year, the state-run Coffee Board said in a statement on Thursday.
In value terms, exports were at $116.27 million from October to November, up from $100.38 million from the same period last year.
India, the world's fifth biggest producer, accounts for only 4.5 per cent of the world's output, but exports 70-80 per cent of this. Italy, Russia and Germany are the top three buyers of Indian coffee.
