The first-ever export of bulk bitumen by HPCL Visakha refinery here was flagged off at the Visakhapatnam port on Wednesday. The refinery exported 4,042 tonnes of 60-70 grade bulk bitumen to Thailand. Mr P.A.B. Raju, Executive Director of Visakha refinery, Mr R. Sudhakara Rao, Executive Director (Direct Sales), and Mr Sanjay Grover, CEO of Hindcol, were present on the occasion. Senior port officials also participated in the function, according to a HPCL press release. The b itumen loading facility was set up at a cost of Rs 14.50 crore.
