New almond export push to target India |

The Almond Board of Australia has received a $50,000 Federal Government grant which it will match to develop the campaign.
The board's chief executive, Julie Haslett, says India is the Australian almond industry's largest export market but there is still room for growth.
"One of the key things we're looking at is working with health professionals in India," she said.
"We found that to be really effective in Australia, to be promoting the health benefits of almonds and another interesting angle for us to look at is alliances with cricket because it's so popular in Indian culture, we think that's something unique for us as a point of differentiation."
