Over 125 Handicraft Exporters To Take Part In Hong Kong Fairs |

The handicraft exporters would participate in three fairs-Hong Kong Houseware Fair, Hong Kong International Home Textiles Fair and Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair.
"The main component of the marketing strategy is participation through specialised trade shows held worldwide. With Hong Kong emerging as one of the important nations, we have decided to pay special attention to this growing region," Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) Chairman Raj Kumar Malhotra said in a statement.
In the Hong Kong Houseware Fair, about 58 Indian companies would participate displaying items like furniture, hardware, home decoration, kitchenware and painting.

Specialised trade fairs held in Hong Kong are now visited by buyers from almost all the major countries of the world." Besides, the US and Europe are the major destination of India''s handicraft exports. The sector is labour-intensive and employs about 60-70 lakh people.
