Rupee Falls 14 paise Against US Dollar to 49.62 |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Wednesday. Rupee was lower by 14 paise or 0.29% against USD to Rs 49.62 compared to previous close of 49.48 (9.23 a.m.).
At 9.26 am., the Sensex was trading up 41.77 points or 0.24% at 17,611.30 with 20 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 13.85 points or 0.26% at 5,303.20 with 31 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.07% to 76.61 after opening at 76.64 (22:47 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.38 up 0.137% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 77.57 down 0.1988% (22:44 ET).
