According to the Customs statistic data, Russian rolled steel shipments to India In May 2009 grew by 6.1% as compared to April 2009 to 95,800 tonnes.
At the same time flat steel shipments grew by 1.3 times, to 65,500 tonnes, semis shipments grew by 27.3 % to 55,000 tonnes. But section steel shipments decreased in report period by more than 4 times to 4,300 tonnes.
Totally in 5 months of the current year export volumes to India increased by 2.25 times, to 316,280 tonnes YoY.
