Indian rupee hits all-time low of 54.83 a dollar |

Indian rupee opened at 54.60-54.61 to the dollar as against previous close of 54.47 a dollar.
Immediately after opening, the rupee touched a new all-time low of 54.83 a dollar as against 54.60 at open due to fall in euro and other Asian currencies.
Pramit Brahmbhatt, Alpari India expects the currency to range between 54.10- 54.90/USD. "The dollar extending its gains & weakness in global equity markets are going to weigh on the rupee," he said.
