Indian rupee up on exporter dlr sales, euro gains |
(Reuters) - The Indian rupee rose in opening trades on Friday as exporters cashed in their dollars on the last trading session of the fiscal year, with overnight gains in the euro also supporting the local currency.
At 9:05 a.m. (0335 GMT) the rupee was at 51.29/30 to the dollar, stronger than Thursday's close of 51.39/40.
