Rupee Falls 15 Paise Against US Dollar in Early Trade |

Indian rupee edged lower against the greenback in morning trade. Rupee was down by 15 paise or 0.15% against USD to Rs 45.61 compared to previous close of 45.46.
At 9.20., the Sensex was trading down 115.59 points or 0.61% at 18,862.73 with 26 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 44.20 points or 0.78% at 5,646.85 with 47 components falling.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.19% to 78.77. It touched a high of 78.81 and a low of 78.62 after opening at 78.62. (22:46ET)
Euro - USD was trading at 1.34 down 0.0029% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 82.16 up 0.1468%.
