Rupee falls 11 paise against US dollar to 54.13 |

Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Wednesday. Rupee was down by 11 paise or 0.21% against USD to Rs 54.13 compared to previous close of 54.01 (09.23 a.m.).
At 09.25 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 29.85 points or 0.16% at 18,460.70 with 19 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 4.55 points or 0.08% at 5,602.45 with 29 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.01% to 79.93 (23:44 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.29 up 0.01% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 79.58 up 0.12% (23:52 ET).
