Rupee gains 10 paise against US dollar to 51.13 |

Indian rupee gained against the greenback in morning trade on Tuesday. Rupee was up by 0.10 paise or 0.20% against USD to Rs 51.13 (09.20 a.m.).
At 09.25 a.m., the Sensex was trading down 61.38 points or 0.36% at 17,160.76 with 21 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 11.60 points or 0.22% at 5,222.80 with 40 components falling.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.10% to 79.65 (23:53 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.31 up 0.17% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 81.55 up 0.07% (23:52 ET).
