NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 2087.79 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 1360.53 crore), Voltas(Rs. 989.45 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 977.13 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 968.77 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 884.56 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 862.02 crore), Trent(Rs. 662.30 crore), InterGlobe(Rs. 621.07 crore) and Tata Motors(Rs. 584.87 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 36.8 points up at 24404.3, while BSE Sensex was up 174.65 points at 79880.56 as of 11:00AM(IST)on August 12.
In the Nifty index, JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.00 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) were among the top losers.
