Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal visits Sri City SEZ |
CHENNAI: Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal has requested special economic zone Sri City to set up skilled development centres aimed at creating employment opportunity.
After making her maiden visit to Sri City SEZ situated about 90kms from here yesterday, the Minister while addressing the investors, suggested them to set up skill development centres as illiterate people can be trained, creating huge employment opportunity, a press release said.
Badal was received by Sri City SEZ, Managing Director, Ravindra Sannareddy and the Minister made a visit to key food and beverage processing units located in the SEZ which include Cadbury India, PepsiCo,Kellogs, it said.
