PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 23/2015-2020-DGFT
New Delhi, the 1st October, 2020
Subject: Additional details to obtain AROs under domestic procurement of steel at export parity price by MSME exporters of EEPC – regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.04 of the Handbook of Procedures (2015-20) as amended, Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the said Handbook of Procedures, with immediate effect:
After Para 4.32 (a) (iv) under Chapter 4 of the Handbook of Procedures, the following sub para 4.32 (a) (v) is added:
(v) For domestic procurement of steel at export parity price by MSME exporters of EEPC,(as per Ministry of Steel O.M. No. S-21016/3/2020-TRADE-TAX-Part (1) dated 27.5.2020 read with OM dated 24.06.2020 as amended from time to time), the details of Service Centre/Distributor/ Dealer/Stockyard of the domestic steel producer from where the steel is being procured , duly countersigned by EEPC, shall also be provided and the same shall be endorsed on the ARO by the Regional Authority at the time of issue.
Effect of the Public Notice: AROs for domestic procurement of steel at export parity price by MSME exporters of EEPC to contain additional details regarding Service Center/Distributor/Dealer/Stockyard of domestic steel producer in order to administer the Scheme notified as per O.M. S-21016/3/2020-TRADE-TAX-Part (1) dated 27.5.2020 read with OM dated 24.06.2020.
