Representations have been received from exporters,
Export Promotion Councils and the Ministries of Textiles and Commerce for
allowing DEPB benefit in case of embroidered silk garments, fabrics and made-ups
with embroidery exported prior to January 2001.
2. The matter has
been examined and it has been decided to allow DEPB benefits to embroidered silk
garments, made-ups and fabrics under Sr. Nos. 74, 75 and 76 of the unamended
DEPB rate Schedule i.e. prior to January/ March 2001. This supersedes Board�s
Fax of even number dated 9th July 2001.

Suitable instructions/ Standing order may be issued for the guidance of
Trade/ Field staff.
