Subject : Allocation of quantities of cotton for export in terms of Policy
Circular No. 09 dated 29.12.2010-Regarding
Policy Circular No. 09(RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 29.12.2010 had stated that the
declaration of allocation of quantities against the applications received from
31.12.2010 to 06.01.2011 will be made on 10.01.2011.
- The Annexure to this Trade Notice contains the allocation of 19,00,000 Bales
of cotton. The fractional numbers, in the annexed allocations will be rounded
off at the time of issue of Registration Certificates, in order to ensure
commercially meaningful transaction.
- A separate trade notice is being issued about the scheme and modalities of
scrutiny of documents. The scrutiny would commence at 1000 Hrs on Tuesday
11.01.2011 and will close at 1100 Hrs. on Tuesday 25.01.2011, as was given in
Policy Circular.
Annexure.doc List of 928 applicants arranged alphabetically with IEC Code and
quantity allocated (38 pages).
