Alteration in the name of bank in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
We advise that the name of 'The Bank of Tokyo - Mitsubishi, Ltd' has been changed to 'The Bank of Tokyo - Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd' in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 with effect from January 01, 2006, in terms of Notification DBOD. No.IBD.937/23.03.007/2005-06 dated December 26, 2005, which was published in the Gazette of India ( Part III-Section 4) on January 21, 2006.
