Subject: Amendment in export policy of Pulses.
S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with
Para 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20 the Central Government hereby
amends, para 2 of
Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 20.01.2016 read with
Notification No 78(RE-2013)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2014 and SL. No. 54 in chapter 7
of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items, with immediate
effect.
2. The amended para 2 of Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 20.01.2016 will now
read as:
" The prohibition on export of pulse till further orders as notified vide
Notification No 78(Re-2013)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2014 read with S.l No. 54 in
chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of export & Import Items, as
amended from item to time, will not apply to export of Roasted Gram
(whole/split) in consumer packs upto 1 (one) Kg".
3. Effect of this notification:
Export of Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer pack upto 1 (one) Kg has been
permitted.
