NOTIFICATION No. 87 (RE-2008)/2004-2009
New Delhi, Dated the 17th February, 2009
S.O (E) – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade
(Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 of
the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 (as amended from time to time), the Central
Government hereby makes the following amendment in Foreign Trade Policy (FTP):
- At the end of paragraph 4.3.1, the following clause shall be added:-
“Prohibited items of exports mentioned in ITC(HS) Book (as amended from time to
time) shall not be entitled for DEPB credit except for the exports effected
under transitional facility, wherever allowed, in terms of paragraph 1.5 of
FTP.”
This issues in Public Interest.
