No. 7 dated 24th June 1997
In
exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development
and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 4.1 of Export and
Import Policy, 1997 -2002, the Central Government hereby notifies the following
amendment in the "ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import items 1997
- 2002" namely:
Under
Exim Code 68.02 with sub-heading description "Other monumental or building
stone and articles thereof, simply cut or sawn, with a flat or even
surface", the Import Policy against following item description mentioned
against their respective Exim Codes is amended to read as follows:
