PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 39 (RE-2006)/2004-2009
NEW DELHI DATED THE  31st  July, 2006

SO(E): In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following
amendment in the Public Notice No.95(RE-2005)/2004-2009, dated 30^th March, 2006 :-

(a) The word “exclusively” mentioned in Para 2 stands deleted.

(b) The words “manufacturer exporter” wherever mentioned in the Public Notice shall

be replaced by the words “manufacturer exporter / merchant exporter tied with legal / licenced unit / industry for extracting Sandalwood Oil and having procured sandalwood oil class through open auctions from the State Forest Department having necessary certificate of origin in his or his firm’s name”.

(c) The following Sub-Para (e) shall be added after Para 4(ii) (d):

“(e) Merchant Exporter shall submit documents evidencing extraction of

Sandalwood Oil from the legal / licenced unit / industry.”
