G.S.R. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/2001-Central Excise(N.T.), dated the 30^th April, 2001, published vide G.S.R. 318(E), dated the 30^th April, 2001, namely :-

In the said notification, in the preamble, for the words and figures “sub-heading No. 6101.00 or 6201.00”, the words and figures “Chapter 61 or 62” shall be substituted.
