Amendment in the Ntf.No.15/2002-Cus.,(NT) dt.07/03/2002 (Jurisdictional Changes)

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No.15/2002-Customs (N.T.), dated the 7th March, 2002, namely:-
2. In the said notification, in Table, against serial number 15, in column (2), for the entry, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"(a) Port and Airport of Kandla, Kandla Special Economic Zone and the areas within a radius of 8 kms. around that Zone and the areas under the jurisdiction of Gandhidham Municipality.
(b) The port of Gujarat Adani Port Limited, Mundra in the district of Kutch."
3. This notification will come into force on the 1st April, 2006.
