PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 161 (RE: 2008)/2004-2009

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade
Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the
Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/
additions/deletions/corrections in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009,
as amended from time to time
- In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) as contained in the
Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as amended from time to time,
following amendments are made against SION entry at A2361 for export product
‘Reinforced Steel Wire Braided Rubber Hose containing Minimum 35% Relevant
Synthetic Rubber in Rubber Compound’:
“Description of Import Item at Sl. No. (2) against SION entry at A2361 is
amended as “Relevant textile yarn (Cotton, Polyester, Rayon, Nylon Yarn, of
relevant denier)” for existing description ‘Relevant Textile Yarn (Cotton,
Polyester, Rayon)’.
- In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be
made at appropriate places as mentioned below:-
After the existing SION entry at Sl. No. A3635, new entries at Sl. Nos. A3636
and A3637 are added as per Annexure “A” to this Public Notice (Page 2-3).
