Amendments in Customs Notification No. 79 dated 10th December 2002

Notification No. 12 dated 30th January 2003 (NT)
In
exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section 14 of the Customs
Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board, being satisfied that it is necessary in the
public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the
notification No. 79/2002-Cus. (NT), dated 10th December, 2002 issued
under the said sub-section and for the time being in force on the date of the
commencement of the Customs Tariff (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003 (1 of 2003),
namely: -
In
the said notification, the reference to the Chapter, heading or sub-heading of
the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), as the case may
be, relating to any goods or class of goods, wherever occurring in the said
notification, the corresponding reference to the Chapter, heading or
sub-heading, of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)
as amended by the Customs Tariff (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003 (1 of 2003) shall
be deemed to have been substituted.
This
notification shall come into force on the date of commencement of the Customs
Tariff (Amendment) Ordinance, 2003 (1 of 2003), i.e. 1st day of
February 2003.
