Amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1)
Public Notice No. 66 dated 16th January 1998
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997 - 2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part - II Section 3 - sub section (ii) vide S.O. No. 283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1) 1997 - 2002;
1. In Appendix 20D, the Note appearing after S. No. (iii) (b) under the heading CERTIFICATE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT__________________' shall be deleted.
2. In Appendix 20D the words and expression If any of the documents or record mentioned in item (ii) of the certificate ______________________' appearing after the entry at S. No. (viii) of the heading 'CERTIFICATE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT _________________' shall be amended to read as if any of the document s of record mentioned in item (iii) of the certificate ___________________'
3. In Appendix 20E, the paragraph at S.No. (ii) under the heading 'CERTIFICATE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT __________________________' shall be deleted.
4. In appendix 20E, the S.No. (iii) (b) and the 'Note appearing after S. No. (iii) (b) under the heading 'CERTIFICATE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT _________________________ 'shall be deleted.
5. In Appendix 20E, The words and expression 'If any of the documents or record mentioned in item (ii) of the certificate ______________________' appearing after the entry at S. No. (viii) of the heading 'CERTIFICATE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT ______________________' shall be amended to read as 'If any of the documents or record mentioned in item (iii) of the certificate ___________________'
